TEACHING PRACTICE - FOURTH WEEK Weekly report - 4 (03/12/2018 - 07/12/2018)         This was the last week of our teaching practice. Because of Christmas exam, we will back to our college. In this week I almost completed three lesson plans. Monday was holiday due to 'Perunal'. On Tuesday, I completed the problems related to Length and Circle and did some extra problems related to that. On Wednesday, I started new topic length and area and did problems by giving activity card to the students. Students were very excited to do problems in the activity card. On Thursday, I conducted a diagnostic test. On Friday, I completed the problems related to Length and area. I introduce the problems related to length and area through chart and I completed the whole chapter on Friday. This week was a very good experience for me. Waiting for wonderful Christmas.

Sweet Memories of Third Week

TEACHING PRACTICE - THIRD WEEK Weekly Report - 3 (26/11/2018 - 01/12/2018 ) This was the third week of our teaching practice. In this week I almost completed six lesson plans. Besides the regular classes, I had got duty for the programme, 'Malayalathilakkam'. On Monday, I continued the chapter Circle Measures.. Students were very excited to know about the concept. Tuesday was holiday due to memorial of Mar Thoma Dionysius. Sri. Shashi Tharoor,  MP was the chief guest of the programme. He delivered the 2018 Mar Thoma Dionysius Memorial Lecture in our school. Also presented the key of a new home to a family from Pathanapuram on the leadership of Malankara Orthodox Church. The programme was really enjoyable and memorable.On  Wednesday i dealt with the topic 'Areas'. On Thursday I continued the topic. Friday was holiday due to strike. Saturday was working day. The Great Second Week

We were busy for the week as we had Malayalam Thillakam Programme for the students who were weak in Malayalam.A test was conducted and the students with lower marks were selected to give training. This training was sponsored by Kerala Government to improve the Malayalam language of the students.The class for the students were made interesting by using videos, stories &song. I had to look after the performance of the students in U.P and H.S section. I wrote the words on the board and graded their writings.  CLASS TIME This week I could complete the chapter Polynomial and began a new chapter Circle Measures. Our Optional teacher Remya Stanley came to observe my class on Wednesday. She gave me some suggestions regarding the techniques to prompt questions in class. She said that I must ask question first then select the student to answer. I have used the free time as I got extra hours to teach my students. So I could successfully complete eight lesson plans.
